Do not use Dexedrine Spansule if you have been using an MAOI for the past 14 days, such as isocarboxazide, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline or tranylcypromine. Dextroamphetamine extended-release capsule is not recommended to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children younger than 6 years of age.

Geriatric

No information is available on the relationship of age to the effects of dextroamphetamine in geriatric patients. .

Breastfeeding

Studies in women breastfeeding have demonstrated harmful infant effects. An alternative to this medication should be prescribed or you should stop breastfeeding while using this medicine.
